Nights Production Team Leader

We are looking for a Team Leader to ensure that the lines perform to their optimum efficiency by maximising the output of the machines and motivating the team to perform to their best, whilst influencing and engaging with line operatives to maximise the product output.

Shifts are: 4 on 4 off working 6pm to 6am. We operate 24/7, 365 days a year.

Job Description

 Key Responsibilities of the Team leader

• Ensure the lines run to maximum output and efficiency, and targets are hit as per the production plan.
• Build a strong, motivated, reliable and capable team across the lines.
• Ensure the lines are manned correctly and each employee is aware and capable of their role.
• Responsible for moving the team members to other roles within the team and between lines when demand requires it.
• Ensure all changeovers are completed thoroughly and on time.
• Take ownership of the line and the team working on the line – understand everything that is happening and why.
• Ensure the team understand their role and what is expected of them.
• Communicate with Production Supervisors and Production Manager to report any productivity concerns/ issues.

• Ensure that information relating to the efficient operation of the function is exchanges accurately

• Organised and clam under pressure
