We are pleased to announce that the Shareholders of Northwood have acquired the trade and assets of Consuma Paper Products Ltd (CPP).
Northwood has been a strategic supply partner to CPP in recent years, and previously the main supplier for over 20 years when the company traded as Staples Disposables Ltd.
As of 1st December 2022, the business will operate as Northwood Consuma Tissue Ltd (NCT), which is under the 100% ownership of the Northwood shareholders.
We welcome to the Northwood family our new colleagues in Grantham, many of whom are already familiar with Northwood through years of working closely together.
This transaction will allow for the planned integration of the Birmingham and Grantham consumer focused businesses, and will operate as an integral part of the Northwood Companies. Both sites feature state of the art equipment and dedicated professional staff, focusing on servicing the requirements of the consumer sector.
This acquisition completes the range of Tissue products that Northwood is now able to offer in Facial Tissue, Kitchen Towel and Toilet Tissue. Additionally the business can also offer high quality printed tissue products in all formats.
The business will have the support of Northwood’s established local and global sourcing channels, as well as access to Northwood manufacturing capabilities enabling NCT to focus on it’s core competencies and customer requirements with the full backing of the dedicated owners.
